Northbound is a booking desk, not a brochure. Every trip starts with a written brief and ends with a single invoice, and the person who prices it is the person who answers when a train is cancelled in another country.
Private trip design
We build the route around your dates and how you like to move: how many cities, how long the driving days, whether you want a guide at each stop or a map and a phone number. The first draft arrives day by day with prices attached, plus two alternatives to compare rather than one take-it-or-leave-it figure.
Bookings, guides and transfers
When the shape is right we contract it: flights or rail, hotels, drivers, licensed guides, entries and permits. Everything is confirmed in writing and collected in one document with the phone numbers that matter, so you are never left chasing five suppliers yourself when a connection moves.
- Flights and rail, including seat rules and baggage that actually apply.
- Hotels chosen for location and quiet, not for a commission.
- Drivers and guides we have used in the last twelve months.
Small-group departures
A handful of routes run on fixed dates with a maximum of fourteen travellers. Each listing names the guide, the pace, the walking level and what is not included, so nothing important sits in small print.
What it costs
The planning fee is flat and quoted before we start. Suppliers are priced at cost with the agency fee on one line, and if a price moves before deposit we tell you the moment we know.
