LEADER 96 Team Takes Part in Liebherr Business Run 2022
On 03.10.2022, the 5th consecutive edition of the Liebherr Business Run was held in the Thrakia Economic Zone /TIZ/ with a total of 60 teams from 31 multinational companies. Each of the 240 amateur runners completed 2 laps of the closed course around the Liebherr plant.
LEADER participants in the competitive race, despite the strong wind, successfully completed the 16km marathon and moved up 10 places from last year, to 29th. The enthusiasts this year were: Ralitsa Shishkova, Todor Nikolov, Simeon Chochkov, Svetoslav Dafov.

Interesting facts
A competitor in a wheelchair won the applause of the hundreds present. The largest company marathon in Southern Bulgaria supported another noble cause. 4 amateur runners from one of the host teams “Liebher” pushed the wheelchair of the Plovdiv student Ivan Peev, who was born with cerebral palsy, for 16km. “This is the first time we have included a Business Run like this, because the track allows it,” explained Vladi Konstantinov from the “Begach” Sports Club. The club participates in an international project for the development of a manual for the construction of running routes for disadvantaged persons. “Our goal is for more people with mental and physical difficulties to enter sports, for prevention, therapy and inclusion,” Vladi also shared before awarding the prizes to the winners of the competition.
