HISTORY

Founded in 1996, LEADER 96 Ltd has 25 years’ experience in the production and distribution of bicycles. As a company striving for quality and constantly seeking development, LEADER is continuously investing in its production and warehouse facilities.

In June 2017, the company opened its second factory, increasing the total manufacture and warehouse space up to more than 40,000 sq. m. The new factory is designed for production of middle and high-end regular bikes, and e-bikes, and it has its own bicycle testing laboratory.

At present, there are around 350 employees working at LEADER. In order to constantly develop and increase the skills of its workers and engineers, the company has opened a training center – “ LEADER School”.

In 2020, LEADER has reorganized its production and warehouse facilities in order to optimize its processes and to improve the efficiency. Currently, the company has 9 production lines, all of them equipped and meant to produce e-bikes. After the reorganization, LEADER’s capacity has reached 230 000 e-bikes per year. To guarantee maximum client satisfaction, every bicycle is produced in line with the European Quality Standards (ISO 9001:2015 and BSCI).
